Vintage 1960s Syroco Rooster Hen Chicks Wall Plaques Set 2 MCM Farmhouse Charming vintage Syroco rooster and hen-with-chicks wall plaque set, dating to approximately the 1960s. Both pieces feature deeply molded feather detail with a carved-wood appearance, warm brown and gold-toned coloring, red combs and wattles, and yellow accents. The rooster has dramatic openwork tail feathers, while the hen is shown with three chicks at her feet. The back of the rooster is molded COPYRIGHT © SYROCO INC MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 4260 and retains the Syroco label. Syracuse University’s Syroco archive notes that the company transitioned into injection-molded plastics during the 1960s, consistent with the hollow molded construction of these plaques. A great mid-century farmhouse kitchen or cottagecore wall display. Measurements: rooster approximately 15" tall x 11" wide; hen approximately 11" tall x 12.5" wide.
