Vintage De La Cal Barreira Puente Spain Hand Painted Bird Pottery Pitcher Jug Spanish Folk Art Ceramic 6.5” Signed Beautiful vintage De La Cal Barreira hand painted pottery pitcher from Puente del Arzobispo, Spain. This substantial Spanish ceramic pitcher features a wonderful hand painted bird perched among branches, flowers, berries and foliage in earthy yellow, green, rust, burgundy and blue tones. The opposite side is more simply decorated, allowing the striped handle and whimsical scalloped rim to really stand out. The underside is hand signed “De La Cal Barreira Puente 130.” De La Cal Barreira is associated with the centuries-old ceramic tradition of Puente del Arzobispo in Toledo, Spain. Vintage condition with expected minor variations and imperfections from its handmade, hand painted nature and age. Please review all photographs closely for condition.
