Beautiful vintage sterling silver and lapis lazuli brooch featuring a substantial oval cabochon of richly saturated royal/cobalt blue lapis. The stone is framed by an ornate sterling setting with dimensional beaded and circular detailing, giving the piece a wonderful handcrafted, Southwestern/ethnic-inspired character. The reverse is clearly stamped 925 and fitted with a traditional pin and safety clasp. The silver shows natural age-related patina and surface wear, which has been left intact and adds to its vintage character.
