This item is a vintage hand-painted ceramic biscuit barrel or treat jar from Japan featuring embossed scroll accents, a floral motif, and a rattan/bamboo swing handle. Typically produced in Japan (such as by Kyoto or similar post-war/mid-century makers) from the 1930s through the 1950s. This one s signed made in Japan. It has typical crazing and a few chips around lid area. Review pics. It is large and weighs 4 lbs. it needs a wipe down. It is dusty.
