Antique Austrian pill or snuff box made of nonmagnetic metal, believed to be either brass or bronze. The box features an ornate decorated body, aged gilt-tone finish, rope-style trim, and a colorful domed enamel or faux-stone lid. Marked “AUSTRIA” on the underside. The metal has not been professionally identified, so it is being sold as brass or bronze. It is not being represented as silver. Shows age-related patina, tarnish, and surface wear.
