This beautiful vintage Wildflower pattern casserole was produced by Cirning from 1977-1984. The underside of one handle is marked “Corning Ware A-2-B 2 Quart”. It measures approximately 8.5" square (10.25”with handles) x 2.5" tall and holds 2 quarts. The glass lid is marked “15” and “A-9-C”. This casserole, unlike many vintage pieces, is oven, range, and microwave safe. Both dish and lid are in great vintage condition - no cracks, discoloration, crazing, chips, or paint loss. The colors are well saturated. There is minor wear on the underside. There is no interior staining - it’s very clean, although there are some areas in the crevasses that might scrub up even more. The lid has some small areas of roughness along the edges - flea bites - but no chips or cracks. It’s hard to believe this piece is at least 40 years old! Such a beautiful vintage piece.
