Charming vintage Hummel wooden music box featuring classic Hummel-style artwork of four children singing together on the lid. The natural wood box has a hinged lid and a clear interior panel displaying the mechanical music movement. The underside winding lever is marked REUGE, the renowned Swiss music-box maker. IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE: The music box mechanism is not currently working and is being sold as-is for repair, restoration or display. Exterior shows light vintage wear consistent with age. Please review photos carefully for condition. Beautiful collectible piece even as decor, and potentially a nice restoration project for a Hummel or Reuge collector.
