Beautiful antique Venetian Murano wedding cake glass bead strand from the 1920s Art Deco era. This exceptional group includes 16 large hand-decorated Murano glass beads, each measuring around 5/8” (16mm), along with 13 smaller clear glass spacer beads. The aqua/turquoise glass beads feature elaborate applied floral decoration with raised pink roses, colorful glass accents and shimmering aventurine-style details characteristic of traditional Venetian fiorato / wedding cake glasswork. Each bead was individually decorated, so subtle variations between beads are part of their handmade character. The beads are currently strung on a continuous string measuring approximately 12” around / 6” drop. There is no clasp. This is not a wearable finished necklace and is being offered as an antique bead strand for collecting, restringing or jewelry design. Unless for a child.
