Striking vintage c.1970s Southwestern statement buckle crafted in nickel silver and featuring three genuine Buffalo nickels, a dramatic dimensional grizzly bear, natural turquoise and red coral cabochons. Classic sawtooth settings and sweeping silverwork give the piece wonderful sculptural character. Genuine circulated Buffalo nickels show the expected wear of their original 1913–1938 coinage.
