Beautiful vintage earrings made in Mexico with an eye-catching mosaic-style inlay of rich turquoise green and deep cobalt blue stone chips. The elongated diamond/marquise shape is accented with twisted rope-style metalwork and geometric detailing for a wonderfully handcrafted Southwestern look. Each earring measures approximately 1.25 inches long, making them substantial enough to stand out without feeling oversized. The backs are stamped MEXICO with an additional marking that is difficult to decipher--it may be a maker's mark or sterling mark; metal content and stones have not been independently tested. One earring has some missing/chipped blue inlay, visible in the photos, along with natural vintage patina and wear that add to their collected character.
