This is the 'Art Deco' Commemorative Boxed Limited Edition #4,705 of 25,000 minted from the Patrick Mint, 1932 "The Quarter That Never Was". It's .999 Fine Silver and it is from the competition that was held for the new design on the 25 cent coin for the anniversary of George Washington's birth. This coin was minted from the original plaster model. Not everyone has one of these & alot of people think it's ugly or they say that it looks like George Washingtons in jail, but some think it's actually pretty cool! Here is a quote from someone online about this coin: "I like the fact that Jess Patrick was able to secure the plaster model for the obverse of this coin and preserved it for posterity.
