Beautiful and substantial vintage-style Chinese Shou Xing (Shouxing) figure, the traditional God of Longevity and one of the Three Star Gods (Fu, Lu & Shou). *This is an unusually HEAVY piece for its size—approximately 10” tall and 7.2 lbs—with intricate molded details throughout, a deep reddish-brown/cinnabar-red lacquer-style finish, and darker antiqued accents that beautifully highlight the robes, beard, facial features and carved-style base. * Shou Xing is depicted with his iconic elongated forehead and holding a peach of immortality, both traditional symbols of longevity. The base also features the Chinese 寿 (shòu / longevity) motif. Maker / Label: Original round paper label remains on the underside. The label appears to be associated with Shixiang (獅祥) and includes Chinese copyright/anti-counterfeiting wording.
