This is the premium, vintage-inspired version of the classic Chuck Taylor. The 162056C features a durable premium canvas upper, thicker rubber construction, an Egret/off-white glossy midsole, red/garnet pinstripe, black foxing stripe, metal eyelets, vintage All Star ankle patch, and vintage-style heel license plate. It also uses OrthoLite cushioning for more comfort than the standard Chuck Taylor All Star. The overall look is intentionally more 1970s/vintage than a standard bright-white Chuck: white canvas paired with the slightly cream-colored sole gives it that distinctive Chuck 70 appearance. The model is generally listed as running about ½ size large.
