Vintage Cast Iron Ornate Victorian Revival Tilting Vanity Mirror 18.5” Absolutely gorgeous vintage ornate tabletop vanity mirror featuring an elaborate Victorian/Rococo Revival design in a warm antiqued gold-tone finish. This substantial piece is constructed of heavy cast metal/cast iron and weighs an impressive 4 lbs 8 oz. The oval mirror is surrounded by incredibly detailed dimensional scrollwork, foliage and floral motifs, continuing throughout the pierced openwork pedestal base. The mirror tilts within the frame, allowing the viewing angle to be adjusted. The aged finish and darker recessed patina beautifully emphasize all of the intricate casting and give the piece a wonderfully old-world appearance. The reverse retains its backing.
