Vintage Krasco cherry and olive pitter with attached glass collection jar. The paper label identifies the manufacturer as K. Krasberg & Sons Mfg. Co. of Chicago, Illinois. The spring-loaded metal pitting mechanism is mounted to a red screw-on lid above the glass jar, which was designed to collect the removed pits. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. The paper label has substantial age-related discoloration, staining, tears, edge loss, and surface wear. The lid and metal mechanism show scratches, tarnish, oxidation, finish wear, and other signs of age and previous use. The glass jar also shows normal surface wear. The mechanism has not been personally tested with cherries or olives, so working performance is not guaranteed.
