Vintage Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio #78 Laced Edge covered pedestal candy dish/compote in beautiful Antique/Colonial Blue glass. Features Imperial’s distinctive open-loop lace rim, paneled bowl, pedestal stem and matching bell-shaped lid with pointed finial. The complete covered form stands approximately 10” tall. Under 365nm UV light, the blue glass produces a strong green manganese fluorescence, particularly through the heavier portions of the bowl, rim, lid and foot. UV-reactive manganese glass; not uranium glass.
