Niche item for a collector This item is an antique Huntley & Palmers embossed tin glovebox featuring an equestrian and carriage coaching scene, originally manufactured around 1913–1914. Origin: Made in Reading, England, by Huntley, Boorne & Stevens for the renowned biscuit manufacturer Huntley & Palmers. Design: Features an offset litho-printed and lightly embossed hinged lid depicting an open carriage meeting red-coated huntsmen, complemented by a green-leaf patterned border and a side fastener. Purpose: Crafted as a decorative multi-use container (often referred to as a glovebox tin) intended to be repurposed after the original biscuit contents were finished
