A wonderful piece of English Staffordshire for the Genie’s Tea table. Made in England by J & G Meakin, a Staffordshire pottery house established in 1851, this vintage cup and saucer features the discontinued Vine Red (Pink) pattern. Burgundy red grape clusters and trailing vine leaves wrap around the cup and saucer, with a softly scalloped and embossed edge giving the saucer extra character. What a unique espresso vessel as well. A genuine piece of vintage English tableware that is beautiful enough to collect and simple enough to actually use, which is exactly how we like our vintage at Genie’s Tea. Arrives with a half ounce of organic, loose leaf, hand blended tea in a muslin bag along with our Brewing Ritual Scroll. *PLEASE SEE PICTURE OF SCUFF ON SAUCER* The saucer has a small surface scuff consistent with gentle age and use.
