This platter is a vintage Japanese porcelain charger produced by the Asake Kiln (Asake-gama / 朝明窯) under the brand or artist name Seiho (晴峰作).It features an underglaze blue Sometsuke style decoration depicting a traditional Japanese Takarabune (Treasure Ship) motif. These types of decorative pieces were widely produced in Japan during the late Shōwa period (mid-to-late 20th century) as celebratory gifts or party serving platters.
