19th-century handleless tea cup decorated in mulberry flow black transferware with a detailed Chinoiserie landscape of pagodas, trees, figures and distant architecture. The underside bears a British registered-design diamond mark, placing the design within the 1842–1883 registration period. The cup has a softly scalloped rim, rich flowing transfer decoration inside and out, and expected antique crazing and age-related wear. Maker and exact pattern remain unidentified.
