This is a swanky vintage A&S wool crewneck sweater, from the former department store Abraham & Straus. The sweater is new with tags size "L" (Large), made in Macau, and the care instructions mention "WPL 18" which is a number previously assigned by the US Federal Trade Commission to manufacturers and a common identifier on vintage clothing. This sweater is vintage 1980s, early 1990s and is knitted from a Wool and acrylic blend. This sweater will look great over a white button down and with slacks, jeans, or skirts. Tag says large but it’s a small large, and will likely fit a medium more comfortably.
