Vintage 1960s Chřibská art glass vase designed by Josef Hospodka in Czechoslovakia. Hand-blown in translucent amethyst and lavender purple glass, the sculptural form features six dramatic hand-pulled fingers that flare upward like an exotic flower. The heavy freeform vase rests on a thick footed base with a molded multi-petal flower rosette underneath. Its flowing organic silhouette makes a striking centerpiece, mantel accent, or addition to a Bohemian and mid-century studio glass collection. Approx. Measurements: Top to bottom: 7.5 in, Base: 3.5 in Excellent preowned condition. All six pulled tips are smooth and intact with no major chips, cracks, repairs, or interior cloudiness noted. Minimal shelf wear is present on the underside. Minor enclosed bubbles or faint swirl lines may be present from the hand-crafted glassmaking process.
