Vintage Decoware double-decker metal bread box / kitchen storage cabinet featuring colorful red apple and green leaf graphics on a white background with bright red sides. This unusual two-compartment design has separate drop-down doors and provides convenient storage for bread, baked goods, linens, kitchen supplies or other household items. Made in the USA and believed to date to the mid-century era, approximately the 1950s. The box measures approximately 13" wide. It has ventilation holes and original vintage construction. Condition is distressed with scratches, paint loss, rust staining, discoloration, surface grime and other age/use-related wear throughout. The apple graphics remain colorful and attractive.
