Death Hawk #2, a science fiction comic book published by Adventure Publications in July 1988. This is a double cover manufacturing cover copy. The outer cover is in near mint condition but the inner cover was not stapled on properly. Cover Artist: The striking pulp-bondage style cover was painted by acclaimed fantasy and sci-fi illustrator Dave Dorman. Creative Team: The issue features the story "To Enshrine the Past", written by series creator Mark Ellis, with interior black-and-white art by Rik Levins, Bruce Miller, and Bob Lewis. Series Background: Death Hawk follows the adventures of a 25th-century human salvage expert operating within a dystopian, corporate-dominated solar system known as the Sol 9 Commonwealth. Rarity: The original series was short-lived, spanning only 3 issues before Adventure Publications folded later in 1988. Because of its brief independent print run, individual issues have become unique Copper Age collectibles.
