​This authentic vintage mantel clock was crafted by The Sessions Clock Company in Forestville, Connecticut. Enclosed in a classic domed wooden case, the clock features a white dial with black Arabic numerals, dual key-wind arbors, and a brass bezel. The removable back door retains its original paper instruction label specifying its 8-day, half-hour strike mechanism on a cathedral gong. The back panel detaches via metal latches to allow full access to the interior movement. While currently untested for timekeeping, the internal chiming mechanism functions when triggered. A charming mid-century horological restoration project, mantel display piece, or vintage decor accent.
