Measurements: 3.75" tall x 5.25" diameter. Stamped on the bottom "Carson." This pot was manufactured by Carson Industries, formerly based in Freeport, Pennsylvania. It features 3-legs with a swing handle. This cauldron-style bean pot is made of statesmetal, a proprietory faux pewter alloy formulated by Carson Industries. The alloy is a unique blend of aluminum and other metals designed to look and feel like antique colonial pewter. This piece is said to be entirely led-free, nontoxic and retains heat exceptionally well. Carson statesmetal tripod pots/kettles were manufactured between 1975 and late 1990's. The company is still actively in business today operating under the name "Carson Home Accents." This kettle shows some wear consistent with age and use.
