Rare piece of early American pottery history! Made by the Oliver China Company of Sebring, Ohio (in business only from roughly 1899 to 1908). ​Stunning Flow Blue Colorway: Deep, rich cobalt blue glaze with heavy flow bleeding and high-contrast embossing along the scalloped rim. Features a detailed transfer print of a Wild Turkey resting in marsh reeds. ​Measures 11.25 inches wide and just under 2 inches tall. Marked on the bottom with the classic Oliver China Co. crest and ribbon logo. ⚠️Contains a visible, continuous hairline crack running from the rim through the central turkey image and down through the maker's mark on the back.
