Product Details

Theodosius I was for a brief period (AD 393-395) the last emperor to rule over a united Roman Empire. He made Christianity the official state religion of the Roman Empire and banned the practicing of pagan rituals, including the Olympic Games in Ancient Greece. After his death, the empire was divided between his young sons Arcadius and Honorius, and would never again be reunified under a single ruler.
