Beautiful two-volume 1981 Romance Treasury set, containing six complete vintage romance novels in two substantial hardcover volumes. The first volume includes Deep in the Forest by Joyce Dingwell, Lord of the Forest by Hilda Nickson, and When Winter Has Gone by Hilda Pressley. The second includes Return to Tuckarimba by Amanda Doyle, Hold Me Captive by Margaret Pargeter, and Greek Bridal by Henrietta Reid. The stories were originally published individually in the 1970s and were collected in these Romance Treasury editions in 1981. Both volumes retain their original colorful illustrated dust jackets, which are in good vintage condition with some very minor edge wear. Underneath the jackets, the books are especially beautiful, with rich brown bindings decorated across the front boards with intricate gold floral and vine designs, giving them a lovely decorative vintage-library appearance. A wonderful set for collectors of vintage romance.
