This classic vintage 1958 hardcover edition of A Field Guide to Reptiles and Amphibians by Roger Conant (Peterson Field Guide Series, published by Houghton Mifflin Company, Fourth Printing) is intact and in good condition. The exterior teal cloth boards are structurally sound with tight hinges, displaying only typical, minor age-related shelf storage wear and a few faint surface spots. The inner color plate pages and black-and-white diagnostic illustrations remain remarkably crisp, clean, and bright, with the only notable internal marking being a previous owner's neat signature ("John V.
