this was bought locally. it works fine but there is one problem. the sd card reader does not work. the pins look fine but i don't have a microscope with a screen to see it better. i bought a replacement sd card reader off ebay and it still does not work when you insert a micro sd. i tested the micro sd with my tablet and it reads just fine. the switch has 3 places that require thermal paste and puddy. i didn't have thermal puddy at the time so i used thermal paste. i've seen some people use it and it works fine with the switch i'm using. the digitizer still works. the screen has some scuffs, but it does not need to be replaced. the console was disassembled for cleaning also. the analog sticks and batteries for the joy cons were replaced. one issue with the joy cons is when they disconnect. it doesn't happen often. i believe it's a common issue when using the switch in handheld mode. the joy cons were disassembled for cleaning. the controller in the box is not new. it was taken out of package for testing.
