Each booster pack contains 4x cards. Gem Pack Vol 4: Chinese Pokémon's New Year - Gem Pack Vol 4 is the fourth release in the series of Chinese extra packs for the Pokémon TCG, reprinting cards to fuel the up-and-coming Simplified Chinese market. It was released on February 6, 2026, a little more than four months after its predecessor. Once again, it was conceived for an exclusive distribution on the sole territory of mainland China, so it won't be available in other languages. And just like the previous three Gem Packs, Gem Pack Vol 4 comes in 4-card boosters containing a guaranteed assortment that includes one rare, double rare or triple rare. All the cards in the packs are given the holo treatment (hence the "gem" name of the series). All the reprinted cards come from earlier sets in the Scarlet & Violet series. And as we've come to expect from all Chinese products, Gem Pack Vol 4 also features a collector's bonanza of exclusive illustration rares that won't be repeated elsewhere for the time being. The set is composed of 28 Pokémon, each appearing in seven variant holo versions numbered individually, one of which also presents an alternate artwork, for a total of 196 distinct cards. Some of these alternate artwork pieces were never printed before, so the only way to get them is through these packs. The headline card is the first-ever Ponyta Illustration Rare, illustrated by MINAMINAMI Take, whose expressive, character-driven style has become a fan favourite. This IR card is only available in this set. In total, 28 Pokémon Illustration Cards are expected across the set, with confirmed favourites including Eevee, Gengar, Ceruledge, Chandelure, Cubone, and Meowth. Collectors can also chase an impressive range of special variants, including Poké Ball Holo, Master Ball Holo, Prismatic Foil, Glitter Foil, and the signature Gem Pack series stamp.
