Especially interesting from a recording standpoint: Smith intentionally limited the sessions to analog gear and consistent instrumentation, generally recording only 2–3 takes of each part. There was no programming or sequencing and no copy-and-paste assembly—the instruments were actually played live, giving the project an intentionally organic, old-school studio character. Includes five additional tracks plus five instrumental versions. The original LIVE-ACTION received two Grammy nominations. Factory sealed.
