Vintage Sacred Heart Auto League automobile devotional medal still attached to its original packaging from Walls, Mississippi. Gold-tone heart-shaped metal plaque features the Sacred Heart of Jesus with “MEMBER” and “Sacred Heart Auto League” lettering. These devotional medals were distributed to Catholic motorists as a reminder of faith and prayer for protection while traveling. Wonderful piece of vintage Catholic automobilia and religious ephemera, made especially desirable by the surviving original package. Package shows age, edge wear and storage wear as pictured; medal remains very attractive.
