There's nothing quite like finding a piece that refuses to be ordinary. 💙This sculptural sterling silver ring feels like it sailed straight off the bow of a ship — two hand-carved winged figures rise from the shoulders, their flowing drapery cascading down into an Art Nouveau–style shank, echoing the same romantic figurehead carvings once mounted on old sailing vessels. I can't help but imagine her story: maybe a pirate's sweetheart, or an Art Nouveau artist pouring his skill into something beautiful for the woman he loved. Nothing can be confirmed, but that's part of her charm. At the center sits a substantial Blue gem stone ( lapis?), held in a scalloped crown bezel that feels almost architectural. This was clearly hand-fabricated — the "925" fineness is hand-scratched into the interior rather than machine-stamped, and I found no maker's mark despite a close search.
