Product Details

Vintage Tombstone, Arizona souvenir lot featuring three Old West paper collectibles: a 1959 second-edition paperback of The Earps of Tombstone by Douglas D. Martin, a foldout Tombstone Map and Guide priced 25 cents, and a large souvenir reprint of the October 27, 1881 Tombstone Epitaph reporting the aftermath of the O.K. Corral gunfight. The book contains 65 numbered pages and draws from early Epitaph reporting on Wyatt, Virgil and Morgan Earp, Doc Holliday, the Clantons and McLaurys. The map identifies historic Tombstone sites and includes descriptive text. An appealing circa-1959 to 1960s Arizona travel souvenir group for Western Americana, genealogy and local-history collectors. Preowned vintage condition with age-related wear throughout. The paperback has toning, surface marks, light stains, edge and corner wear, and a handwritten price on the upper front cover. Interior pages appear complete and securely attached with general age toning. The foldout map has original folds, wrinkling, scattered stains, surface marks and edge wear but remains readable. The souvenir newspaper reprint has pronounced folding, creases, waviness, edge tears, small losses along the upper edge, toning and handling wear. See pictures for further details on condition.
