Hand-carved salt glaze stoneware vase from Williamsburg Pottery in Lightfoot, Virginia. This colonial-inspired piece features a classic cobalt blue floral design with double lug handles and includes the original Williamsburg Pottery insert explaining the traditional salt glaze process. Although the insert references “Circa 1750,” this vase is a modern handcrafted reproduction made in the style of 18th century Williamsburg pottery. Measures just over 5 inches tall with a 2.5 inch rim opening. No chips or cracks. A beautiful piece of American studio pottery and a great addition to a Williamsburg or salt glaze collection. Comes with the insert shown in pictures.
