This appears to be silver plated; however, there is no stamp. A magnet does not stick to it. It has a heavy patina finish. The base has bent areas. I’m not even sure how that could occur because of the thickness of the metal. On the inside, which I cannot access, it appears to be a dirty blue cobalt glass insert. I did not clean this. The top does unscrew. This is a perfect addition if you collect vintage Bibles or vintage rosaries. Approximately 5 1/4 inch high. This does have a slight slant position when positioned in a certain angle; however, you can position it to where it’s not so noticeable.
