Red Quartz (Heat-Treated Citrine) Cluster Deep, dark orangey-red clusters — this is quartz, most likely low-grade amethyst, that's been heat-treated to bring out an intense red-orange color. While often sold as Citrine in the market, natural Citrine has a paler yellow color and is much more rare.  Sold as a no-frills Geo Pick: no box, no label, just the raw cluster shipped as-is at a price that reflects that simplicity. Perfect for studying up close or sitting on your desk. Take a magnifier to it and see what you might find. Sizes run thumbnail to miniature.
