The collectable vintage brooch features an elongated, leaf-like shape. It is adorned with numerous small, round, aurora borealis rhinestones, which create a shimmering, multicolored effect. The rhinestones are predominantly in shades of brown, purple and iridescent hues, set in a gold-toned metal base. The arrangement of the stones follows the outline of the leaf shape and surrounds the central opening, with some stones also embellishing the inner edge of the shape. The back of the brooch has a standard C clasp pin. This is a beautiful mid-20th century brooch reflecting a classic style of vintage costume jewelry.
