Stored, the shaker sits atop the cup. To serve, however, the shaker will not cover the top of the egg unless it is cut to fit (see last photo). But it is nice to have the shaker as part of the cup and plate. The cup does not come off. The plate is approximately 5” in diameter and the cup is 2 3/4" high. In like new, preowned condition. I truly do not think these have ever been used.
