Antique A&J Manufacturing Company hand-crank rotary egg beater, made in Binghamton, New York. The large drive wheel is stamped with the A&J diamond trademark, “PAT. OCT. 9, 1923” and “MADE IN U.S.A.” The patent was issued to inventor Charles E. Kail and assigned to A&J Manufacturing Co. Features an all-metal construction, hand-operated crank, geared mechanism and two loop-style rotary beaters. Turning the crank rotates the beaters in opposite directions. Likely manufactured during the 1920s, before A&J was acquired by Ekco in 1929. Wonderful authentic antique kitchen tool for a primitive, farmhouse or vintage kitchen display. Condition: Antique condition with expected surface wear, darkening, oxidation and scattered spotting. Mechanism should be described as working only after testing. Please review all photos closely.
