Vintage E.O. Brody Company milk-glass pedestal compote, model M6000, made for the American florist trade during the mid-century era. This substantial pressed-glass piece features raised sweeping swirl and leaf-like panels, finely textured detailing, a gently scalloped rim, and an elegant footed pedestal base. The crisp white milk glass works beautifully with cottage, farmhouse, traditional, grandmillennial, or romantic décor. Originally designed as a floral container, it can also be used as a fruit bowl, candy dish, centerpiece, planter, or decorative display bowl. Marked on the underside: E.O. Brody Co. Cleveland, O.
