Ornate antique oil/kerosene banquet lamp that has been converted to electric use. Features a beautiful clear diamond-pattern glass font, tall fluted column, classical decorative capital and substantial square metal base. Original-style burner/gallery hardware remains incorporated into the lamp. Wonderful Victorian/Edwardian statement piece. Displays beautifully when illuminated. Shows age-related patina and wear consistent with its history. Electrical components appear to have been added/replaced during conversion; vintage wiring should always be inspected before regular use.
