Stunning vintage Venetian-style millefiori art glass necklace featuring substantial, individually patterned beads bursting with cobalt blue, turquoise, ruby red, yellow, white and green. The elongated glass beads feature intricate millefiori/murrine floral cane work with shimmering aventurine-style gold accents. No two beads are exactly alike, giving this piece incredible color, texture and presence. Measures approx. 15" total length (7.5" hanging). Art glass beads range from approx. 1/2" to 1" long and are accented with clear and red glass spacers. Finished with a vintage multi-section barrel/screw clasp. Substantial and weighty for its size.
