Rare original 1996 Vogue Designer Original sewing pattern 1836 by Issey Miyake. Authentic vintage pattern, not a reproduction or digital copy. Miyake was one of Japan’s most influential designers, known for innovative construction and sculptural clothing. His discontinued Vogue patterns are sought after by collectors and experienced sewists. Oversized, slightly flared unlined coat with standing back collar, concealed button and loop closure, forward shoulder seams, front pleats, welt pockets, extra-long fold-back cuffs, buttoned back stay and coordinating belt. Sizes: S 8-10, M 12-14 and L 16-18. Bust approximately 31 1/2 to 40 inches. Advanced sewing level. Condition: Uncut and factory folded with original instructions. Envelope has substantial vintage wear, including creasing, wrinkles, edge and corner tears, and a store stamp. See photos. This listing is for an original paper sewing pattern.
