Large vintage aqua blue-green glass fishing float wrapped in knotted rope netting and finished with a natural cork float at the top. This is a fantastic nautical display piece with beautiful color and plenty of character. The glass measures approximately 30” in circumference, or about 9.5” in diameter. The thick glass has visible bubbles, waviness and irregularities that give it a wonderful hand-crafted appearance. A large sealed glass button/pontil area is visible on the bottom. The rope netting surrounds the float and extends upward through the cork piece to create a hanging loop. The combination of aqua glass, aged rope and cork gives this piece a great authentic maritime look. Vintage/pre-owned condition with surface wear, marks and imperfections consistent with age and previous use. Rope and cork show natural aging and wear. Please review all photos carefully for condition. No maker or country-of-origin marking has been confirmed, so I am not attributing this piece to Japan or
