antique studio portrait photograph dating to the Edwardian era (circa 1910–1915). This stunning image captures a young woman in a classic white dress and 'Gibson Girl' pompadour updo. It is housed completely inside its original, heavily textured gray presentation folder. The lower front face of the folder features the elegant silver embossed signature logo: 'Pennell - Junction City, Kans.' Taken by the famously renowned Midwestern photographer Joseph Judd Pennell, whose lifetime works are permanently archived at the University of Kansas. The photographic print features striking contrast and rich sepia tones, completely free of fading or silvering.
