early 1900s antique vernacular snapshot photograph capturing two men sporting incredible, thick Edwardian handlebar mustaches, period wool suits, and driving caps. Very interestingly, this print features a clear darkroom processing error where the original glass or film negative was laid down backwards during development, resulting in a mirror image. The studio credit line text at the bottom right corner is completely flipped and reads in reverse as 'COOKS INTER-STATE GALLERY' (likely a traveling or regional gallery active around Kansas/Missouri).
