Original 1925 Postal Telegraph telegram with a stark death notification reading: “FATHER DIED AT SIX AM TODAY.” Sent January 26, 1925 from Effie Colomey to Mrs. A. C. Anderson in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Great piece of early 20th-century death / mourning ephemera with strong oddity and social-history appeal. Features the original Postal Telegraph – Commercial Cable styling and attached “Postal is the Sterling Mark of Telegraphy” label. Approx. size 7 x 8 in. Blank back. Original fold lines, age toning, light creasing and general wear from handling/storage. See photos for exact condition.
